Description
To find the right injector, use only our counting method:
We count from the radiator side or at the belt (if there is no radiator) to the flywheel.
For a 4-cylinder engine, cylinder 1 is at the radiator and cylinder 4 is at the flywheel.
On a 3-cylinder engine, cylinder 1 is at the radiator and cylinder 3 is at the flywheel.
Important for the high pressure line:
Please note that you are working on the high pressure fuel system (max. 1800 bar!).
As soon as a screw connection of the high pressure line has been loosened, it is mandatory to install a new line and tighten it with the correct torques.
Important for the injector:
Please note that you have to program the injector code for a correct function after installation.
This can only be done with our diagnostic tool HDS².
If the code is not programmed, the operating license will expire due to the lack of emission conformity.
Besides it also leads to increased fuel consumption and in the worst case to a complete engine failure.
