Cleaning is called for every 250 operating hours. According to the maintenance plan, the cooling air area must be cleaned at this point. It sounds complicated, but it’s actually not. You just check the air conduits in your Hatz 1B engine for dirt and grime to ensure that the drive continues to receive sufficient cooling. As with all engines, improper cooling leads to overheating that, in turn, can damage a variety of components of the drive. And in the worst case, this can cause expensive monetary damage. With that in mind, it’s better to pick up a brush every 250 operating hours. That way, you will be able to enjoy your engine and your machine much longer.
